NEOFLON PFA Benefits & features
NEOFLON PFA (Perfluoro Alkoxy) is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether. Like PTFE and FEP, it is fully fluorinated. Like FEP, it is melt processible. It has a continuous service temperature of -200°C to +260°C. Like PTFE, PFA has extreme chemical inertness, excellent slip and release properties, and excellent electrical properties. In addition, PFA provides excellent high temperature mechanical properties.

Daikin produces two types of PFA, industrial grades and semiconductor, also called „SH“, grades. Both types can be easily processed by typical plastics processing methods. Semiconductor grades have the additional benefit of being extremely low in metal and fluoride ion extractions, meeting all semiconductor requirements. Anti-static industrial grades are also available.
NEOFLON PFA AP series
NEOFLON PFA AP-201 is a high flowability fluororesin. It is suitable for injection molding of complicated shape products and extrusion molding of thin wall electric wire.
NEOFLON PFA AP-210 is excellent in melt flowability and is suitable for injection molding and extrusion molding.
NEOFLON PFA AP-220 is a medium melt flow PFA resin suitable for tubing and for electrical wire coatings.
NEOFLON PFA AP-230 is a fluororesin that is excellent in melt flowability. It is suitable for extrusion molding.
NEOFLON PFA AP-230ASL is a conductive fluorocarbon resin. It is suitable for extrusion molding.
NEOFLON PFA AP-211SH is a fully fluorinated high purity PFA. Melt flowability and stress crack resistance are excellent. It is suitable for injection molded parts used for semiconductors.
NEOFLON PFA AP-230SH is a fully fluorinated high purity PFA. It is excellent in melt flowability. It is suitable for chemical liquid tubes of semiconductors by extrusion molding.
NEOFLON PFA AP-231SH is a fully fluorinated high purity PFA. It is excellent in melt processability and stress crack resistance. It is used for chemical supply tubing at semiconductor factories.
