Renaming SOLKANE™ Refrigerants
Daikin Chemical Europe GmbH, a subsidiary of Daikin Industries, Ltd., announces Creard as the brand name for Daikin‘s low-GWP products. The Creard brand will be used for refrigerants, blowing agents, solvents and propellants. The logo for Creard, shown above, is also being introduced.
Daikin‘s R-407H will be the first product to use the Creard brand. Creard R-407H is Daikin‘s new cost-effective, high-efficiency, low-GWP refrigerant for use in new and retrofit refrigeration systems. It is a mixture of R-32 / R-125 / R-134a with a GWP of 1495 / 1378 (IPCC 4th / 5th AR). Creard R-407H has been specially developed to enable a low-cost conversion of R-404A and R-507 systems.
Daikin Chemicals further informs that the following established refrigerants will no longer use the SOLKANE™ brand name starting March 2018:
