Daikin Chemical Europe's new Innovation Center in Dortmund, Germany
Daikin Chemical Europe has opened its new Innovation Center at one of the largest innovation ecosystems in Germany, the Phoenix West Technology Park in Dortmund. The innovation center currently focuses on three technology pillars to support trends in automotive, semiconductors, information devices/IT equipment and telecommunications infrastructure.

Daikin and Honeywell team up for adoption of SOLSTICE® L40X (R-455A) refrigerant in Europe
BRUSSELS, Belgium AND DÜSSELDORF, Germany January 11, 2021 – Honeywell and Daikin Chemical Europe today announced an agreement to distribute Honeywell’s Solstice L40X (R-455A) lower-global-warming potential (LGWP) refrigerant to comply with stringent EU regulations for environmentally preferable refrigerants. Daikin Chemical Europe will sell the product as Creard® R-455A for use in commercial refrigeration applications.
